Eugene Onegin

Following her acclaimed 2024 Met debut in Madama Butterfly, soprano Asmik Grigorian returns as Tatiana, the lovestruck heroine of Tchaikovsky’s adaptation of Pushkin. Baritone Igor Golovatenko reprises his role as the urbane Onegin, who realises his love too late. Tony Award winner Deborah Warner directs the Met’s evocative production, praised by The Telegraph as “a beautifully detailed reading of Tchaikovsky’s lyrical romance.”
